Meaningless Magic takes fantastical beings and knocks them of their "fantastical" pedestal by subjecting them to the same drudgery that ordinary people have to endure every day.
This was my thesis project from OCAD University, and is meant to be a cynical, humorous take on the toils of mundane life. Favourite images selected.
Game of Gnomes. Or: the attack charge in
a futile fight for a garden's harvest against
a peckish pest.
Sleepless Sandman: who can put everyone to sleep but himself, having ruined his sleep schedule by working the night shift
Little League Horseplay: using the mechanical disparity of a baby centaur to highlight the... experience of having to sit through a child's sports game.
Closet Cakery: walking in on the boogeyman disregarding his work duties to pursue his true - benign - passion, of cake baking.
